The Last of the Mohicans

I can't remember when I saw The Last of the Mohicans for the first time, but it was quite soon after it's release 1992. But it is one of those that'll stay with me, it's on the surface such a simple piece of standard adventure action, but it's got many depths. Also, being a sucker for music, well .. this finale of it is just too powerful, one of few vid that bring tears to my eyes, each and every time. There isn't a single sound, a single part of the music, a single picture of the scenery or the actors, not even the tiniest movement, that isn't well performed and thoroughly planned to make this one of the most powerful ten minutes of a film. Ever.
Of course, knowing the tragic life stories involved will help to "enjoy" it...
I'm sorry I couldn't get a clip from it that's in better quality. The tears are almost not visible in this one. Anyhow, might as well throw in the trailer here as well. I'm afraid it's rather tacky. :-)
Kanske intressanta bloggar om: The Last of the Mohicans, film, movie, end, soundtrack, tragedy.
